With the start of the new season, Catlike continues to grow and increases its list of sponsors and appointments in the professional circuit. Catlike is involved in this project, a club that is also identified as a non-profit sports organization and has also built a development program for cyclists in which professionals teach boys and girls how to ride and how to compete in cycling.
With the collaboration and support of Catlike, the Cycling Academy, in only a few months, has built a group with up to 12 different nationalities and a technical staff that will be headed by ex-Director of IAM and Sky, the Finn Kjell Carlström. Spaniard Oscar Guerrero, formerly in Kaiku and Euskaltel-Euskadi, as Sports Director; and Ran Margaliot, as Manager, complete the directive.
The general manager of Catlike, Pepe del Ramo, was excited and satisfied with the signing of the agreement in which this will be the 21st consecutive season Catlike will be participating in the professional circuit.
21 years of uninterrupted participation in elite cycling, endorsed by its results and its reputation in innovation, technology and development, “Catlike continues to grow and take care of its sponsorships by offering personalized bike helmets for each cyclist. We were looking for teams like the Cycling Academy, presently but also looking toward the future in the professional circuit” says Pepe.
“By carrying out the entire manufacturing process in Spain, we are going to produce a unique and fully customized helmet that no one else can provide. And this personalization program is going to be open to any club, professional or amateur. The Cycling Academy will have an exclusive product, and will ride knowing that they are wearing on their heads, the best bicycle helmets on the market” explains the director of Catlike, satisfied with the seal of the agreement with the Cycling Academy.
A project endorsed by the ambassador of the current World Champion, Peter Sagan, and manager of ex-Saxo Bank, Ran Margaliot, explain the essence and philosophy of the club in an interview: “We called it Academy because this is more than a team, is a school of values, and the future goes about to unite people and collaborate”.
